Ice Breakers
You will need 1 facilitator to help with the programs. These various programs have been used to facilitate great networking programs to bring company staff together.
1. What’s in your Pocket – This program involves team members to learn about each other by what they have on their person, in their handbags and briefcases. It is a very fun program, as it does not leave anything to chance. Points for items listed are given to help with a scoring format.
2. Personality Test – This program involves the team members to learn about each other based on their personality traits and background information. Once all forms are completed they are redistributed amongst team members and then team members interview each other to find out whose form you have.
3. Commonality Exercise – This exercise is used to demonstrate that people often have more in common than not in common. Promotes Team Identity.
4. Ideal Project Program – This program allows teams to work together to create the Ideal project. They must create the product or program. Its benefits, budget, marketing etc. At they end of the time allotted teams will give a brief overview to the other teams. Teams will score opposing teams projects.
5. Egg Breaker - Each guest attendee will receive an egg carton with 12 plastic eggs. Each egg has a fortune question that you need to find a person that can answer it. Some people may choose one person to answer all twelve questions or some may choose to find up to 12 different people.
6. Best Hand- Each guest will receive a playing card and a note card with a pencil when they enter the room. Guests will have to find others at the event to help them create a winning hand. Players will write down the name and card on the note card. At a designated time all card playing will stop and the cards will be given to the Host. During the event they will be scored and the person with the top winning hand will win a prize.
7. Scrabble- Each guest will receive a letter when they enter the room and a card with a pencil. Guests will have to create words like in the game of Scrabble. The first person to ten words with 5 or more letters from different guests will win a prize.
