Corporate Games
"these
are just a few in our large arsenal of corporate games"
Wet t-shirt contest (not what
you're thinking):
Either in a pool or out. it's a relay race where you soak a t-shirt
and then have the teams try to put the t-shirt on (head & arms have
to go through the appropriate holes) once it's fully put on it's
taken off and passed to the next person etc...
Plug the leak:
Team relay game where you have one person sitting and holding a
bucket on their head (the bucket should have some small holes
drilled into it in various places) either using cups or sponges you
can do over/under or just passing it over their heads. the object is
to fill the buckets to either a predetermined line or till it over
flows. each team has to work together to plug the holes to keep the
water from leaking out. (make sure you spread the holes out, make
sure there is one in the middle on the bottom).
Number Game:
Needed: 3 –4 sets of paper (Laminated) numbered zero through nine (0
– 9). Two or more teams of ten people each. A list of questions to
be answered numerically. Each question has a point value.
Object: Each team of 10 will be lined up single file. The numbers
will be distributed sequentially
0 – 9 from front to back. Zero being first, then 1, then 2, etc...
A question will be asked. That question will have a point value
based on difficulty starting at 1 point and going to 20 points.
Because of the higher point questions a team in last place can
quickly become first when those questions are used.
The game can last as long or as little as the person asking the
questions desires.
The answers must be given in the following manner.
If the answer is a single digit answer, the person with the correct
numeric answer must come to the front of the line and show their
answer before any of the other teams present their answer. The first
person with the correct answer is awarded the point.
If the answer is a multiple digit number (which most answer will be)
ALL of the corresponding numbers must come forward. If the answer is
1879 then the 1, 8, 7, and 9 must all come to the front of the line
and present their answer.
NOTE: The answer must be displayed to the person asking the question
in a way that they would read them naturally (from left to right).
If the answer is 1879 and it is presented to the reader as 9781 or
any other combination other than 1879, it is wrong and will not
count.
The winner is the team with the most points.
Scrabble: (can get full sets of tiles at walmart in the craft dept.)
Needed: Multiple sets of scrabble tiles (complete sets). Teams of 2
or more (recommended 4 or more).
Object: To form as many words as possible related to a certain topic
( guest of honor, company or theme). You can score by actual points,
total words or creativity.
Suck It Up:
Needed: Teams of 4 or more. Straws, Marshmallows and pails.
Object: Teams line up and each member is given a straw. The object
is to get a marshmallow from one side of the room to the other and
drop it in the pail using only the suction power through the straw.
If the marshmallow falls you have to suck it up and continue.
Big Squeeze:
Needed: Teams of 10 or more.
Object: Divide into 2 teams and announce that each team will be
racing to squeeze into the shape of the item mentioned. For example:
if the leaders yells out the word "football" the teams must squeeze
into the shape of a football as would be seen from above. Keep
score- first team to 10 wins. Good Squeeze Shapes (Squeeze into the
shape of . . .) California, A dog, pair of sunglasses, baseball bat,
shark or a map of the U.S.A.
Island:
Needed: Teams of 10 or more and a sheet/comforter (king or queen
size)
Object: Lay the sheet flat on the floor. All team members stand on
the sheet. The object of the game is to flip the sheet over without
team member’s feet stepping off the sheet. They can lift their feet
but they cannot step off the sheet. Putting a time limit on the
teams will add additional pressure. While there may be several ways
to do it, the best is for team members to simply plant their butts
on the floor, turn the sheet over and then stand back up again on
the sheet
Lifesaver:
Needed: Teams of 4 or more, 1 cd (used, scratched) and a drinking
straw for each contestant.
Object: Have contestants line up in rows and have them pass the cd
using only the straws through the holes (no hands) from the front of
the line to the back of the line and back.
